I would treat it as a user-impact incident and compare the new funnel behavior against the previous version. Then I would inspect the specific interaction points, confirm whether the issue is technical or UX-related, and roll back or patch quickly if the regression is clear.

I would measure performance in terms of user experience, not just internal metrics. For ecommerce, that means time to meaningful content, interaction latency, and how quickly the user can compare products, add items, and complete checkout.

I would keep the component API small, composable, and easy to extend without breaking existing use cases. Because marketplace requirements change often, I would also separate styling, behavior, and data concerns so the component can evolve safely.

I would make the frontend resilient to missing fields, unexpected nulls, and delayed responses. The UI should degrade gracefully with sensible defaults, clear error states, and no hard dependency on every field being present.
